South Elmham Hall and its wedding venue, Bateman's Barn, are set in Suffolk’s ancient borderland area of ‘The Saints’, in the beautiful Waveney Valley between Bungay and Harleston. We are easy to find directly following SAT NAV, using the postcode IP20 0PY.  

'The Saints' is an area of tiny hamlets, villages and farmsteads west of the bustling and creative market town of Halesworth, each one marked by an impressive historic church.

It is in turn is only a short drive from the fine city of Norwich and the Norfolk Broads and Suffolk's Heritage Coast including  those Suffolk seaside spots such as Covehithe, Southwold, Walberswick, Dunwich, Minsmere, Thorpeness and Aldeburgh - popular for leisurely strolls along the prom, art galleries, glorious walks or birdwatching.
